    2014

  • 2014: ModSci 1st 2014/2015 Quarterly Meeting held electronically 16/12/2014 to 1.00 pm. 18/12/2014. Seminar postponed to Q2,due to travel commitments. Topic for Q2: "Integrative Data Analysis"(Andrea Notice).
  • 2014: Alireza Dehghani successfully defended his PhD thesis on Friday, Dec 5th 2014. Warmest congratulation to Alireza and his supervisor Dr.Alistair Sutherland.
  • 2014: Irina Roznovăţ successfully defended her PhD thesis on Monday 15th September 2014. Warmest congratulations to Irina and to her supervisor Prof. Heather J. Ruskin!

  • 2014: Workshops QSPH'14: The Role of Quantified Self for Personal Healthcare Workshop (co-chair Na Li) was held in conjunction with IEEE BIBM 2014, (Belfast, UK), on the 2nd - 5th November 2014. The topic Computational Modelling and Bioinformatics in Epigenetic was included in The Empowering Systems Medicine Through Optimal Computational Modelling Workshop at the same venue (co-chair I. Roznovăţ)
  • 2014: ModSci 3rd 2013/2014 Quarter Meeting and Seminar session was held on Thursday, 29th of May. Seminar topic was Complex Systems & Data Analytics. More information on Seminars' page.
  • 2014: ModSci 2nd 2013/2014 Quarter Meeting and Seminar session was held (jointly as part of Sci-Sym series) on Wednesday, 12th of February. The Q2 ModSci meeting was held electronically. Seminar topic was Bioinformatics/BioMedicine. More information on Seminars' page.
  • 2014: Having successfully defended her PhD in autumn, Jelena Vasic submitted the final version of her thesis and graduated in March 2014. Warmest congratulations to Jelena and to her supervisor Prof. Heather J. Ruskin.

  • Marija Bezbradica successfully defended her PhD thesis on Monday, 29th April. Congratulations to Marija and to her supervisors Prof. Heather J. Ruskin and Dr. Martin Crane, on this success!

  • Ms. Na Li awarded Google Student Travel Grants to attend the 19th International Conference on Multimedia Modeling in Huangshan, China. January 7-9, 2013.
